difficult to observe and even harder to grasp. In earlier epochs, people structured their lives through cycles: the rhythm of day and night, the seasons, the phases of the Moon. Through attentive observation of the surrounding world, reality was comprehended and one’s place within the cycle of life became clear.

In the era of globalization, the significance of cycles has partially diminished, while global uncertainty has increased — despite visible scientific progress. Knowledge has paradoxically multiplied questions and complicated life rather than simplifying it.

contemporary reality, uncertainty has become pervasive —

BoGobán is an art object that brings together the fragmented realities of individual human experience into a single image, while simultaneously functioning as a tool for transforming the irrational into the rational.

Based on the doctoral dissertation of psychologist Pavel Piskaryov, BoGobán takes the form of a universal 8×8 matrix — a square that refers to the game of Go, the cycles of the Universe, and one of the central movements of the Russian avant-garde: Suprematism.
Yet, in contrast to Suprematism, which explores non-objectivity through sensation, BoGobán proposes a different approach: the exploration of the self through the object-based structure of the matrix field and the placement of magnetic stones upon it. By moving the stones, the viewer constructs a personal combinatorics of impressions.

The dynamics introduced by these elements enable dialogue, communication, and the representation of the fluidity of inner states. The game of Go has historically been a means of perceiving the significant through the small scale. Emperors studied it as an art of governing the state.
Just as the ancient game of Go translates strategic situations into a universal language of black and white stones, BoGobán renders visible and universal the very matrix of spiritual life, allowing it to be scaled into concise and accessible forms.

BoGobán also adopts one of Go’s fundamental principles: achieving great change through minimal effort.

In this way, BoGobán becomes a universal language for dialogue with oneself and with the processes of the unconscious — a means of expressing emotions, feelings, and the lived experience of inner reality.
BoGobán is an art object of the Metamodern era, a device for the fine tuning of consciousness that facilitates a person’s entry into dialogue with the Universe. Every movement on the BoGobán board corresponds to a movement within the inner cosmos, activating and developing the dynamics of internal energetic states.

BoGobán offers a creative field in which psychological, strategic, and personal tasks can be addressed; situations can be played out; favorable solutions can be sought; feelings can be transformed; and goals and dreams can be explored and embodied. It is one of the most intellectually complex art objects in the history of contemporary art, grounded in Pavel Piskaryov’s doctoral dissertation “Metamodernism: An Integrative Theory of the Humanities.”

The BoGobán field is divided into eight parts and segmented into meaningful zones, each indicating concentrations and movements of forces. Through play, BoGobán allows one to enter into contact with their inner cosmos and recalibrate its settings.
When composing configurations on the board, one reconnects with the Self, with the energy of the Universe, and through this connection releases unconscious illusions and programs, discovering one’s authentic place.

To take a step forward requires effort. The stones mark key points of energetic movement. Each time they are shifted across the board, one gains a clearer understanding of their position — in the world, in ideas, aspirations, feelings, motivations, and in the position of the soul itself.

BoGobán is a work of contemporary art that speaks of the contact between human aspiration — the drive toward realization — and the divine principle, the absolute ideal. It contains within it the full abundance of possibilities for the development of life. Every move on the board becomes a movement within one’s personal history. Through BoGobán, one can experience the full depth of human existence.
BoGobán also belongs to the realm of immersive art, as it has no meaning without a human participant who provides context — who fills and animates the work with unique content.

The value of its immersion lies in its practicality: this instrument enables the resolution of psychological and personal tasks and the construction of meaning. Beauty is central here. In this beauty, something greater is born — harmony, alliance with resolution, alliance with the object, alliance with the surrounding world.

BoGobán is a tool for cultivating the sense of the beautiful. It is a fine tuning of an ecstatic state through which contact with the divine, with truth, and with beauty becomes possible.
